However, some untimely mistakes contributed to Siegal's elimination early on the competition, finishing eighth place overall with a nice pay of $14,041. Soon after, Boyer committed the same kind of errors en route to his elimination for a seventh place finish and a decent prize of $16,642.
Meanwhile, the middle rounds of the $1,500 Seven-Card Stud event for the 39th Annual World Series of Poker separated from best from the good players. In the end, the title run of Kalpakis fell short against his better opponents, finishing sixth place overall plus taking home a decent prize of $21,842. D'Agostino's strategies and tactics also proved inferior against the remaining survivors of the competition, landing him at fifth place for the prize of $28,083. Furthermore, Troy secured the fourth place, which came with a nice prize of $37,184.
Rocco, Barbieri, and Torosyan comprised the final moments of the $1,500 Seven-Card Stud event for the 39th Annual World Series of Poker. At the closing rounds of this exciting poker tournament, Torosyan ended up with the third best record for a prize of $50,186. In the meantime, Barbieri took the second place after his plays came short against the timely tactics and strategies of Rocco. Barbieri went home with a prize of $83,210 while Rocco grabbed the top prize amounting to $135,753. Add to that, Rocco also walked away with his first ever WSOP championship bracelet.
